How updates work#
- A scraper refreshes the data every week and opens a pull request, so every change is reviewed.
- A drop guard blocks accidental data loss, and a daily freshness check opens an issue if the data gets stale.
- Data routes use a 300 second CDN cache window, so new data can take a few minutes to appear.
The same numbers are available as JSON from /api/v1/version and /api/v1/changes.
